Bar à Sieste is a one-of-a-kind concept in the heart of Paris. It’s the very first nap bar in France! It gets a lot of international media coverage (including the New York Times or even CNN!). When I was introduced to the owner Christophe I couldn’t believe that such a trendy start-up didn’t even have a website.

I started by designing a simple one-page spa website for him.  The visitors could find the most basic information about the Bar à Sieste. As the company was expanding, Christophe asked me to suggest him a digital strategy to improve its online presence and sales.

The completion of the nap bar, massage and spa website took a couple of months and the results are impressive!

Outcomes of the project

The redesign of the website proved very fruitful: the bouncing rate is less than 5%. This means that the users are interested in knowing more about the company and the products.

The search engine optimization strategy was also successful. Bar à Sieste website is topping on the first page for most of the relevant keywords (for instance “nap in Paris” or “fish spa”).

The online booking system also helped Christophe increase his sales. In fact, they multiplied by 10 since the redesign of the online shop! The automation of the booking instead of going through the phone or emails also gave more time for him to dedicate his time on developing his company.

Once a promising start-up, Bar à Sieste is now an established company in the wellness industry.  They are also launching a corporate offer ZZZen Truck for which I will develop a dedicated micro-site.
