The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI), is the official bilateral chamber fostering business relations between India and France. The Chamber has four offices in New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore. It has nearly 600 members comprising leading French and Indian companies.

IFCCI organizes each year a multitude of networking events for its members. Each office hosts a yearly Gala dinner and several business summits. Payal S. Kanwar the President of IFCCI contacted me to design a corporate event website. The requirement being that it should be a portal for all the events IFCCI organizes. The challenge was to create a corporate event website template that could be easy to edit for each new event.

Outcomes of the project

The Indo-French Chamber of Commercy and Industry’s corporate event website received praise from its members. The purpose of the website was a success as all the events organized by IFCCI were sold out. I have done microsites for The Gala dinners in Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi and Bangalore. I also designed the website for the Indo-French Business Awards.

The fact that each event microsite is actually a subdomain, gives room to a lot of creativity as the page is fully customizable.

One of the most important challenge for me when I have to work on complex projects is to simplify the back-end so that my clients can have full ownership of the website.

The template of each event page is easy to edit. In fact whenever a new sponsor is on board or a new speaker is scheduled it is very simple to update the page without altering the design.
